 Fast Lap stage II @ Bikernieki 2010.06.05
Hi guys,
We are preparing for June 5, Fast Lap II stage in Bikernieki. Race will be held in Auto track (without any chicanes). As Peep told me, there will be Opentrack event the day after and as I know some of our participants are planing to compete in Opentrack. So we invite you to race in our series as well. More, we will have Fast Lap III stage in Parnu on July 3rd.
We will launch a new web-site in english, I will inform you immediately. Meanwhile our participants already prepare for Bikernieki battle 
  
Up, there are three leaders who showed best times in Kacergine:
Jonas Poškus (jp) Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII 2003 A3000+ 01:22.441 (ave. speed 144.88 km/h)
Mantas Neverdauskas (Civicas) Honda Civic B16/B20 1993 A2000 01:22.631 (to Mantas belong 2009 Parnu record in Baltic Open class)
Andrius Firantas (Schummy) Honda S2000 2000 Open 01:24.372

That's true and that's why he is assigned to Open class by our regulations, which does not compete in Grand Final session, where Fast Lap winner is decided.
When web-site will be ready you could read regulations then and everything will be clear. |

As of now I plan to participate in Riga and Pärnu, even bought set of Toyos specially for those occasions. I will be in 325Cup car though, so not with some track rocket. These cars could do about 1.30 in Kacergine on Barums. But I hope that will be fun anyway.
I'm sure you will have many participants from Est, although we don't have such time attack prepared cars here.
Should we understand from this S2000 case, that you may re-classify some cars to Open category ? If yes, then let us know also the criterias - besides slicks, is it tube chassis or something else ? Just no point to be in the paddock with street legal tyres and then get to know, that actually you could run on slicks. |

Peep, there are simple two criterias that cars are assigned to OPEN class:
- tube chassis (no matter what tires)
- slicks* (cars with roll cage)
* cars without roll cage and with slicks are not allowed to race at all. |

Sounds reasonable. May-be there will be at least one car for Open class from here.
We will be waiting for regulations and registration info in English. |

Kes veel ei tea, siis juuli alguses on FastLap üritus toimumas ka Audru ringrajal. Eks aja lähenedes ilmub selle kohta täiendavat infot.

There is only one Latvian (he's marked green in participants list) It's mainly because their afraid of fast Lithuanians  Joke, our event is not coordinated with LAF and many Latvian drivers have LAF licenses which makes it complicated. Still, last year we had approval from LAF but there were TWO Latvians - anyhow, question why they do not participate on their home track is a mystery for us.
We want to gather speed addicts from all Baltic States in one competition as it was back in "those old good days". This is our main mission |

Finished. Everything is good.
First - Jonas with Mitsubishi EVO VIII
Second - youngster Mantas with Honda Civic B16/B20
Third - Edvinas with Honda S2000
(same cars as in first post)
Peep did good performance. Fourth in Final, and first in A3000 class! |
